Pan American Sea Plane Base - Miami Pan American Airways sea plane airport in Miami was their base of operations for their flying boats in Florida. From there they were able to fly to areas of the Caribbean and South America before land based airports were built. The base was a huge tourist attraction as well for visitors wanting to see the aircraft and watch the flight operations. This album includes some postcards of the airport without aircraft in the view.
