Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse
This lighthouse is somewhat of a challenge to get up close and see since it is located at the end of a 7/8-mile-long breakwater pier. During rough weather or wind one cannot go onto the pier either.
The day we were in Rockland, Dennis went one morning by himself to go see it.
(Cheri and Candy opt for the nice hotel room and sleeping in instead.)
Dennis did get up close to the lighthouse but forgot to take photos. The photos you see below were taken from our hotel room window by Candy.
Dennis enjoyed his visit to see the lighthouse. However, it was beginning to get a little windy on his way back making his walk a little scary and rough.
