Prospect Harbor Lighthouse
What we had heard about access being difficult to see this lighthouse is true. This lighthouse is part of the US Naval Communications Center. The light is located behind the navy's main gate. The gate is also manned by naval guards. However, one is allowed to photograph ONLY the lighthouse that can be viewed from outside the main gate.
Candy really wanted to get a photo of this lighthouse. Dennis has a flag at home that has a photo on it of this light.
The day we went to photograhed this light it was VERY foggy. We left and then after leaving we finally saw the lighthouse somewhat viewable again as the fog began to lift. However, by then we were on the other side of the bay from which this photo was taken.
