"SIR KNIGHT" TIGGER TOURS SCOTLAND 2003

As most of our friends know, Candy has a "LOVE" for anything "TIGGER." Therefore, when we left for Scotland we decided to take one of our MANY TIGGERS with us. Since we were going to see a lot of castles we thought our KNIGHT Tigger would have the best time in Scotland. In this photo album, you will see the photos of our KNIGHT TIGGER and what he experienced with us on our tour.
We think you will find these photos "TIGGERIFICALLY" CUTE!
(FYI... Dennis, most of the time, was the one who remembered to "pull" Tigger out to take photos. Candy was so busy photographing everything else that she would forget to take a shot with Tigger too.)

***We returned to Scotland in 2004.
We took our "HIGHLANDER" TIGGER with us on the trip.

ARBROATH ABBEY
Tigger really liked seeing all the children that had come here for the day to experience the Viking reenactments and live camp.

WOW!
This Viking was Tigger's hero. They both seemed to "connect" on style and were able to talk about helmets and the lastest warrior fashions.

Tigger found this little guy while he was visiting the weapon's booth. Tigger had just one question for him.... "Where did he get that helmet?" Tigger really wanted one of these but none could be found in his size.

Enlarge photo 4

"OH, NO, TIGGER!"
"Now you and your bubby let Dennis out of there right now!"

Enlarge photo 5

Tigger was VERY excited about staying at Culcreuch Castle. However, he was a little afraid about the possibility of seeing any GHOST!"

Enlarge photo 6

"TIGGER!"
"Get down from that bed now!"

Enlarge photo 7

Tigger at Doune Castle. This photo is the one he asked us to put up since the other photo scared him too much.
("Shhhh... don't let Tigger know I told you, but you can view the photo that scared him in our "SCOTLAND'S GHOSTS?" album.")

"No TIGGER, it says
"B-R-U-C-E"
(for KING Bruce.)
They can't change it to
T-I-G-G-E-R."

TIGGER was very excited about seeing the Palace ruins. He was hoping to get to try on a crown or two if he found any laying around.

Enlarge photo 12

"Ok Tigger. Yes, you may bounce down the stairs but be careful and DON'T knock Dennis over as you go down."

Enlarge photo 13

Tigger at Eilean Donan Castle. The most photographed castle in Scotland.
(FYI..Tigger did remind us that HE TOO was the most photographed TIGGER in the world!)

Enlarge photo 14

Tigger really liked this fireplace. Dennis had to tell him twice to get down. He thought it was just the right size for him.

Enlarge photo 15

"SUCH BEAUTY!"
"Yes, you are cute too TIGGER but we were really talking about the loch."

Enlarge photo 16

Dennis and I had just sat down at the train station in Glasgow when we realized Tigger was gone!  However, to our surprise, Tigger had actually found these two policemen. Tigger had been chatting about how he had bounced all the way here from the USA. We had to remind Tigger that he should not tell little lies, especially to policemen.

"Who says TIGGERS and dogs can't be good friends?"

Enlarge photo 18

"Yep, Tigger at another castle."

Enlarge photo 19

Tigger had a crush on our tour guide that we had to Loch Ness, especially after we all played "POOH STICKS."
(FYI... to see us play Pooh Sticks just visit our Loch Ness album.)

This was Candy's favorite photo of TIGGER. However, he did not like it. He says it makes him look too orange.

"No TIGGER, you can't take ANY of these rocks home for your rock collection. These are ancient rocks."

Enlarge photo 22

Tigger loved the town of Luss. He tought the people were very friendly. Many people stopped to talk to him.

Enlarge photo 23

Dirleton Castle was very impressive to Tigger.

Enlarge photo 24

Tigger took the time to stop and smell the roses.
"BUT TIGGER, THAT IS NO ROSE! That is the national flower of Scotland, a THISTLE."

Yes, Tigger this is a VERY OLD STONE.

Enlarge photo 30

Tigger enjoyed seeing the ancient village of Skara Brae. He was hoping to find proof of his ancestors here, but no luck.

"So what do you see now Tigger?"

Enlarge photo 32

Tigger just could not understand why Glenn's band would not let him join. Tigger is a GREAT bass drum player. Just one little problem... He can't seem to hold the drum.

Enlarge photo 33

Tigger found this plaid couch at the tartan weaving factory. He wanted us to buy it for Candy's class room. However, it was not for sale. Also, how would Candy get it in her suitcase if it was for sale?

Tigger at the Woollen Mill. He loved seeing the sheep, dogs and ducks. He felt at home with all the animals that were there.
