1916 racine-Sattley 1 1/2 Hp Engine
Resently bought this engine from a frind of mine. It is 1916 Racine-Sattley Engine,1 1/2 HP that was sold by Montgomery Ward back then!!Engine was priced at $39.95 in the catalog!!!It is a HITT & MIS Engine!! After a little "Tinkering" I got the engine running, Still needs a little more adjusting, But it run's!! Pretty good for a engine nearly 100 Years old!! There is a picture and a short video of the engine running!!

I have the same model engine, and need some pics of the magneto are.  Mine came to me set up for running with a buzz coil, but I am putting it back to original with the mag and ignitor.  What I lack is the trip rod for the magneto, and I need a good look at a complete engine.  My son and I have been working to find parts and restore this engine for over a year, and hopefully are very close to a running engine!  Thanks in advance for any help!

I have had an identical motor soaking in oil in my shed for over 30 years.  It had sat outside in the rain for several decades before I was given it.  Now I am retired and finally have time to get it running again.  First stage is to free up the piston.....

I have the same engine, just got the magnito back from repair, will see if it will fire up tomorrow. What is the hub on the left side?  I have never seen my engine run, my grandparents used it on a washing machine as well.
