In 1983 Imperial introduced the Shorts SD-360 to its flights along the coastal corridor. Nine destinations were served through Los Angeles, and San Diego Los Angeles flights were at 30 minute intervals. But, perhaps due to proliferation of competition, the Airline shut down in 1986.
