1 BART station at SFO airport	2 my hotel, near the Powell St. BART station	3 UN Plaza with a view of SF City Hall	4 closer to City Hall - homeless people sleeping all over the place here (but unlike Colfax Ave. in Denver, this was pretty early in the morning)
5 "Painted ladies" at Alamo Square with the SF skyline in the background	6 arriving at AT&T Park for Giants vs Rockies - Zito vs Nicasio again!!	7 the right field entrance	8 McCovey Cove in San Francisco Bay
9	10 Willie Mays	11 on the way up to my seat to meet Ben	12 Bay Bridge
13 amazing view from our seats	14 Rockridge BART stop in Ben and Kirsten's neighbourhood in Oakland - a really nice area	15 on the walk from Embarcadero to the Alcatraz ferry, this is the Transamerica Pyramid	16 view of the Bay Bridge from the ferry
17 approaching Alcatraz - the Golden Gate Bridge is visible on the left	18 on the Alcatraz self guided audio tour - quite fascinating	19 the prisoners apparently loved to play bridge	20 D Block - for the prisoners who misbehave
21 I think this would be Taylor, Jones, Leavenworth, and Hyde; Fisherman's Wharf is in front of them	22 view of the SF downtown	23 the cell of one of the Anglin brothers, who escaped in 1962...	24 ... by going out the back of their cell and climbing up here to the roof
25 rec yard - the water tower has signs of the Indian Occupation of Alcatraz which lasted from 1969 to 1971	26 arriving back at Pier 33, Coit Tower on the right	27 close up of Coit Tower at the top of Telegraph Hill	28 view of Alcatraz and Fisherman's Wharf from the top of Coit Tower - an old elevator took me to the top
29 SF Financial District	30 view of Russian Hill; the second street on the right is Lombard, with the crooked section visible in the distance	31 switchbacks on Lombard between Leavenworth and Hyde - cars can only go down	32 clam chowder at Fisherman's Wharf
33 it was an absolute zoo on the streets here	34 walking along the beach of the Presidio	35 had to get pretty close to see the Golden Gate Bridge!	36 finally visible
37 end of the Powell Line	38 at O.co Coliseum for A's vs Giants with Ben and Kirsten	39 the A's won 4-1
