Progress of my old Boba Fett DP DELUXE recast helmet, to sell. I will definitely miss this helmet.

1 How I found the ears... all bent due to the heat, and detached from the helmet. :-(
2 Another view, showing the angle. They've being fixed by applying some heat with a heat gun.

4 Left side view. Ear detail has been repainted at this point now, since it was weathered SILVER before.
5 View from the Right side... UGLY!
6 Starting the preparation process. Covered the DENT and sanded down the "RED kill marks"... I still can't understand why they were RED when I got it...?
7 View from the top...not that bad.
8 Close up of the kill marks and the big scratch accross... not accurate at all.
9 Started repainting process.
10 Dome repainted. You could see the grooves and bumps from the DP DELUXE castings... only thing I loved about it... making them more realistic.

14 Took out the tape covering the DENT.
15 Kill marks repainted, more accurate and applied airbrush weathering.
16 Some scratches done, mainly the SILVER ones.
17 Side by side comparison with my MS2/SpideyFett painted helmet, the one I'm based to paint the DP Dlx.
18 Another angle... still not done yet.
19 View of the inside of the helmet. Note the 9V connector, 9V battery holding strap on the back, activiation switch on the side, and the fan right on the forehead.
20 Ear detail repaint. Notice how close they are next to my MS2/SpideyFett helmet.
