Mom, Dad, Karen and I drove up to see "the log cabin" at 9610 Water Lily Trail. We were lucky to get a calm day with perfect temperature in Alex. We stopped at The Butler's Pantry where Dad bought lunch, and then drove to Lake Ida where we ate at the dining room table overlooking the lake. (We peeled the painter's plastic down from the door so we could see out). The house is almost done; grass seed was being sown as we left around 2:15 pm.
