 | our wedding
MaryJo and I were married Aug 13, 2005. We have been married just over a year now. Where did that year go to so fast? We couldn't be happier. We only wish it wouldn't have taken us so long to find each other!!! But we are looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together.
It's been a busy year and we are very excited about moving to the country. We will be, for the first time "TINK", (Two Income No Kids!!!) We are planning to raise Decker Rat Terriers, Alpacs, Chickens, and a few hogs for our own use. Not to mention the huge garden I'm planning to put in. This should keep us busy, but not too busy. We are hoping to move the hot tub to the new place so we can enjoy more soaking at the new place. We love sitting in the tub during snow storms, which up here is at least 4 day a week! It will be even better once we get moved to the country, then we can watch the northern lights, deer, Wild Turkeys, and the snow! Within a 5 mile radius of the new place there are 90+ lakes. So if you deside to come for a visit don't forget your fishing poles! The private lake across the road from us is named Perch Lake, we can't wait to test it out! Just the other day MJ caught a 12 inch perch in one of our favorite fishing holes. The area (just east of Yankee Springs State Park south west of Hastings MI) abounds with bass, perch, blue gills, northern pike, salmon, trout, muskies, etc... as you can tell we are going to be busy just trying out all the lakes and rivers close to us. I'm planning on building a large smoke house so we can smoke salmon, trout, and some hams etc... every year. It looks like we have quite an adventure ahead of us and we can't wait to get started!!! If you would like to come visit, just give us a call, you can fly into Grand Rapids, and we will pick you up there. It's only about a half an hour away. So come on up and sit a spell. | Date(s): August 24, 2006. Album by Dan Clark. Photos by Dan Clark. 1 - 23 of 23 Total. 4142 Visits. |
