Day 1 (November 8, 2009)| Our first true full day in Costa Rica began with a lot of travel. First we took a little plane from San Jose to Drake Bay airport (dirt strip). Then we took a Land Rover across muddy roads and through a river to a beach on the Pacific. From the beach we took a boat to our final destination of the La Paloma Lodge. |

Day 2 (November 9, 2009)| A full day of adventure starting early in the morning with an Earthquake! We followed breakfast with a hike around the San Pedrillo ranger station in Corcovado Park led by our fantastic guide Roy. After an afternoon respite and an excellent dinner we went on a great night tour around La Paloma. |
