Monthly CFFCA Business Lunch Meeting/Program held at the Hilton - Altamonte Springs.
Program: Awareness of the rapidly advancing rescue tool technology and design changes necessitated by the emerging engineered materials used in the Future Steel Vehicle (FSV). Discussion focused on the requirements of 2015 NFPA 1936 and the changing standard expected by 2020. The program addressed new vehicle construction with material tensile strengths approaching 2000 MPa as it related to agency VMR practices. including rescue tool asset management planning.
