enlarge 100KB, 800x606 2 pany04 David and Andrew - David Bickle is a talented actor with a powerful singing voice. He is the son of Sue's cousin, Mary Jane and one of my oldest friends, Ed Bickle, whom I've known since first grade. He is now pursuing his career in New York City.
enlarge 100KB, 800x596 3 pany05 Andrew at Billboard for "Noises Off" - Sue and Andrew went to see the comedy "Noises Off". Andrew's high school drama group presented this play in the spring of 2001. His senior project was to design and build the set for the production.
enlarge 113KB, 608x800 4 pany06 Andrew- Noises Off Marquee. "Noises Off" was also made into a movie starring Micheal Caine. In his drama group's presentation of the play, Andrew reprised the Micheal Caine role for his acting debut. This was a surprise to us as his focus had been on the backstage technical side of theater production up till then. Although we are biased, we thought he did a terrific job in his first acting stint.

enlarge 83KB, 800x608 12 mayjun01 Parker, Evan, & Sue This was taken the first weekend in May. On a Saturday we went and picked up Parker to take him to the Snoqualamie Railroad for a train ride. We didn't waste the opportunity to hold Mark Evan though.
enlarge 92KB, 800x606 13 mayjun02 Evan & Sue I think Evan is wondering who that strange guy with the beard that is taking the picture.
enlarge 82KB, 645x800 14 mayjun04 Parker Riding the Snoqualamie RR. Parker riding one of the old cars of the Snoqualamie Railroad. The train ride isn't long but is does go by Snoqualamie falls. The train stops there and returns - while you wait to get started again you have to look over the edge of a cliff just out the window.
enlarge 76KB, 800x598 15 mayjun06 Sue and Mark Evan This was taken on Mother's Day. We went down to Gregs and had a nice time. We both enjoyed holding the baby.

enlarge 91KB, 800x603 24 jul04 Parker & Bill on "Cecil the Diesel". You could go through this engine (after waiting patiently in line) and were rewarded witha chance to sit at the controls for a little while, which Parker enjoyed immensely.

enlarge 100KB, 588x800 26 jul07 Parker and the Conductor of the Thomas Train. Check out Parker's new Thomas the Tank Engine Hat. For his birthday we told him he could get something at the "Thomas Store" they had set up in a big tent. He looked at everthing in the place and finally chose a Thomas T.T.E. suit of clothes, complete with this hat.
enlarge 70KB, 800x600 27 jul08 Bill & Parker On the Thomas Train. Thank goodness this is a short train ride- there were far too many little kids packed into a small space.
enlarge 84KB, 603x800 28 jul09 Bill & Parker on the Thomas Train.
enlarge 97KB, 800x599 29 jul10 Sue, Parker, & Bill and Thomas the Tank Engine. After the train ride, you could line up for a chance to have a photo with Thomas T.T.E. Before we went home, we stopped at a candy store across the street and Parker told the salesperson what he wanted, and she said "You'd better check with your Grandma". Parker replied, "Oh, my Grandma gets me everything!"
enlarge 94KB, 601x800 30 jul12 Discovery Park Pow-Wow On the Sunday of Parker's Birthday Weekend we took Parker to the Discovery Park Pow-Wow. This was a Teepee that was erected at the entrance.

enlarge 69KB, 610x800 57 augsep15 Andrew was at WSU for the Summer Quarter and he didn't get much time with the baby, so he made the most out of this opportunity.
enlarge 63KB, 606x800 58 augsep16 I don't know who is having more fun!
enlarge 70KB, 610x800 59 augsep17 Parker & Salmon Slide In September, we made a trip to the "Salmon" Park, which features a concrete salmon slide. Last summer Parker wouldn't go down it, because you have to climb into the salmon's mouth, and you never can be too careful.
enlarge 97KB, 800x605 60 augsep18 Blowing dandelion seeds. Parker gets a real kick out of this, and will scour a field looking for the ones ready to go.
enlarge 62KB, 800x607 61 augsep19 Parker & Big Froggy At the end of August, we took Parker down to the beach house, where I got this shot.

enlarge 91KB, 800x604 71 oct04 Parker's Gingerbread Haunted House Another of the projects that Sue had for Parker was making this gingerbread haunted house. It was a kit (see box) and had all the parts pre-baked and ready to assemble.
enlarge 114KB, 800x578 72 oct05 Andrew's fraternity house - Phi Delta Theta. Andrew used to have the room on the 2nd floor to the far right, but it was adjacent to the "smoking" porch and the noise and smoke prompted him to move down to the first floor. This is a much bigger house than it looks, with a full daylight basement floor below.
enlarge 98KB, 800x605 73 oct06 Andrew -Phi Delta Theta (WSU) We took a trip over the mountains in mid October to see Andrew and his fraternity house. We hadn't seen him since Labor Day, and it was good to visit with him. It was a beautiful fall weekend, and the leaves were actually rustling (rather than squishing) in the wind.
enlarge 60KB, 800x604 74 oct08 Phi Delta Coug! Before we left, I snapped this photo of Andrew. You can see that he is enjoying his sophomore year.
enlarge 52KB, 602x800 75 oct09 Peekaboo! Sue made this giant pumpkin for Parker to throw bean bags through. Some of the beanbags that Sue made for Greg when he was little are still in use.
enlarge 60KB, 800x603 76 oct10 Parker and "Mr. Korn" - After using "Mr. Korn" as a beanbag, Parker took him home for Mark Evan.
enlarge 74KB, 800x600 77 oct11 Making Halloween Cupcakes. Another project was making and icing a Halloween cake and cupcakes. I think Parker ate as much icing as got on the cupcakes.
enlarge 75KB, 800x603 78 oct12 Grandpa and Mark Evan Sue keeps Mark Evan on Mondays (since switched to Wednesdays) and she brought him out before I had to go to work. He likes to pull himself up and when his is on the floor go after everything he sees.
enlarge 71KB, 800x600 79 oct13 Grandpa and Mark Evan The picture on the wall with the line of happy pumpkins was drawn by Andrew when he was in pre-school. If you look out the window you can see our "glow in the dark" climber. This past summer, Andrew rebuilt the climber that Greg had built for him when he was three. He found this "nukeular" blue paint in the bargain bin which I'm sure our neighbors really appreciate.

enlarge 137KB, 800x533 81 kmoct02 I want one thiiiiis big! (Karen's Photo) These pictures were taken at Remmlinger Farm, which is much more than just a pumpkin patch.
