Will and Mike forge on ahead - it's getting quite hot in the sun. I got a photo in this same spot in 2000 as well. We took a break just around the corner. My GPS was off a mite as I thought we had another 1 - 1.5 miles to go yet.
Actually we were HERE and the Bannister Ruin was just a few hundred feet down canyon from our break. In fact I would have walked right by it if Mike had not put his hiking pole in the middle of the trail. I looked around and then saw the ruin.
