enlarge 153KB, 800x598 89 ut07-d2-091a There was a big infestation of caterpillers in Fish Canyon. Every grove of cottonwoods that would be a possible campsite was infested with thousands of of the critters. You could hear their droppings hitting the ground sounding like rain.
