From 1995 thru 1997 our troop outing for February was an overnight backpacking trip along the shore of Baker Lake. In 1996 we had an overcast weekend and a muddy trail. I think that we camped at the Anderson Point Camp, which is the nearest established campsite from the southern trailhead of the East Bank Baker Lake Trail. The WTA writeup of this popular trail can be found HERE. It looks like the campsite has had many improvements added since 1996 as the trail has become more popular over the years.
