My general contractor recommended Levi for our major remodel.  He designed and built all the cabinets for our kitchen, laundry room, and three bathrooms.  We had a challenging kitchen layout and he worked with us to maximize our island and cabinet space.  Levi and his team were great to work with.  He was on time and on budget.  He even added extras just because he thought the design would function better. His work is impeccable and he pays so much attention to detail. He is proud of his work and so are we!  Thank You Levi my kitchen is AWESOME!

Well, We would say that Levi gave us our "dream kitchen", however we never dreamed that a kitchen could be as stunning as what Levi created! We started with an outdated, small and closed off space that has been transformed into an open, inviting work of art! Levi takes the time to really listen, get to know a client and create something that checks all the boxes. His craftsmanship is top notch. We know that the work he created will stand the test of time. Not only it's timeless beauty, but it's quality and durability. Two years later, I still love my kitchen.  All the seams between the cupboards match perfectly and work perfectly.  The clean lines and modern and easy to live with.  All of my drawers close softly, making my kitchen a quiet, unstressful place to work.  As I love to cook, I love the convenience of my kitchen design and how easy it is to have several people cooking in my kitchen together.  It is truly beautiful and elegant.

Levi Mize and his staff demonstrated professionalism that I did not know exists outside of corporate companies. Levi is a man of his word and follows through with what he says.  His work? He truely is a "Woodcraftsman".  When I met Levi at his shop, my mind was made up that he is who will "create" my kitchen.  I was nine months pregnant and the general contractor of my whole house.  I knew that if I hired Levi I would esentially be hiring a general contractor for my kitchen. Levi came down all the way to Los Angeles and lined out everything for the plumbers and electricians. That was one big worry I did not
have to deal with in my condition.  Bottom line: for the service, quality, and product, there is no better deal out there.  Thank you so much Levi, I really appreciate your work!

I remember like it was yesterday.  It was a Tuesday morning in Feb. of 05 when Al Lowe and about 15 of his subcontractors descended upon our house to walk through, ask questions, and gather the necessary data to prepare their bids.  Among the technical inquiries, loud voices and total mayhem, one question—the first question asked by Jerry the electrician—stood out in my mind the most:  “IS LEVI DOING YOUR KITCHEN??”  Because we hadn’t yet selected our contractor, I quickly replied, “I have no idea!  And who is Levi?”   Jerry got a big smile on his face and replied, “Levi is the best!  If I had it my way, I would only work with Levi.  You better hope that Levi is doing your kitchen!”

When I finally did meet Levi, I knew immediately that he was a direct, honest, no-nonsense, take-charge type of individual.  After analyzing the original blue prints of our kitchen plan, Levi’s first words to me were:  “I don’t like this plan at all!  There’s no way this is going to work.”  After taking a moment to catch my breath, I continued to listen to Levi say, “You aren’t going to be happy with this plan.  Do I have your permission to make some adjustments?”  Right then and there, I felt an immense sense of gratitude:  I intuitively knew that this man—who had never met us before--was determined to use his knowledge to ensure my husband’s and my satisfaction.  

By Saturday morning, my husband and I sat in Levi’s office, reviewing the new and improved kitchen plan.  Mike and I were astounded:  the kitchen design was SO MUCH MORE than we could have envisioned.  The new plan included an island with prep sink, the use of an entire wall that we neglected to consider, and much more pantry, countertop and cabinet space.   While Mike and I were excited about the design, Levi remained open to our questions and input.  Together as a team, we made some minor changes and developed the plan that we all felt worked best for our kitchen.

At this point, NO MONEY HAD EXCHANGED HANDS.  We hadn’t even finished interviewing contractors for our house remodel, of which our kitchen was only one part.  Within a matter of days, with no payment, and with no guarantees that we would hire him to build our kitchen, Levi invested his time and energy to create an incredibly beautiful AND functional kitchen for us.  It was then that my husband and I realized that Levi’s livelihood is not only about financial gain:  it’s about service to others.  

Needless to say, we did hire Al Lowe Construction for our remodel and Levi Mize Woodcraftsman Inc. to build our kitchen.  It is with great joy that I can say that our kitchen FAR SURPASSED my husband’s and my expectations (this means a lot, coming from two perfectionists).

Levi, what can Mike and I say to you other than THANK YOU.  Thank you for being honest, upfront, hard working, passionate, creative, detail-oriented, organized, and reliable.  Most of all, thank you for using your intelligence, expertise, skill, labor, and hard-earned sweat to do your best to be of service to others.  We are grateful to have a beautiful, functional kitchen that we absolutely love.  We are inspired by your work ethic and we appreciate having worked with and getting to know you.
