I love your steampunk STUFF.  I am just beginning to make/design/create steampunk.  I have been making jewelry for about6 years and started selling it 2 years ago to help pay my daughters way thru nursing school.  Don't think I will ever break even but I am seriously hooked on beading and creating.  I am sure your website is going to be a favorite and regular for me.

From Ken Grant of INHIGHGEAR at Artfire, who says:  This is the clear acrylic bangle from your website, which I purchased awhile ago.  I took an electric sander and ground down one side to make it flat. then I attached a vintage mens pocket watch part using a screw.

To this I attached a vintage brass mens wrist watch movement a dragonfly stamping in silver plate, a brass gear and a vintage watch face from a vintage watch.
I drilled the cuff part way through in evenly spaced points and screwed in a some round head screws to give the bracelet a more industrial look.

My bound beads technique goes great with your Steampunk designs.   Just bead a length of 20 ga wire with your choice of beads; turn and wrap the ends.   Then simply come back over the length of beads with a long length of 24 or 26 ga copper binding wire, wrapping over and under, randomly.

This is a very special pendant, I am looking through my stash for just the right material to finish it....or maybe I will turn it around, dangle something from the hanging hole and make it a brooch....hmmmm   All the materials can be found at http://www.bsueboutiques.com and the base is raw, which I did with my home patina method, directions on the website. http://imageevent.com/bsue/galleryofpatinadesignsandideas

Here's a funky pendant I made in Susan Lenhart Kazmer's class....I still haven't finished it with chain, etc.....must decide how I want to do it.  See the paper under the pendant?  This is a old leaf out of a Berlitz Italian book, that I Ice Resined.   This stuff is fabulous over paper, does crazy things to it.
