Welcomed to British Royal Terriers
British Royal Terriers is located in the beautiful State of Rhode Island. On January 20, 2014 British Royal Terriers introduced its first litter of Rat Terrier pups to the world. My first Rat Terrier named "Isabel" now gone for over a year inspired me to bring more of her into the world so others could love and enjoy the breed just as I have done with Isabel for over 14 years. As Isabel reached about 12 years old, I knew it would only be a matter of another couple of years before she would leave us and I knew it would be a painful event for me. I made up my mind to get another Isabel or make another Isabel if I had to. The search began for that special all white bodied female Rat Terrier (with a champion bloodline) to replace the pain with love that would come when Isabel retired. I scoured the country via the internet looking for another Isabel. Over the course of 2 years, I looked at over 100 litters but could not find another Isabel. Through a chain of events that I would be forever grateful for, Nancy Woodbury of Meander Farm let her lovely little 5 month old Snippet leave her and her farm to head north to this beautiful state of Rhode Island and to settle in here with Barbara & myself at British Royal Terriers. Meander's Snippet personality couldn't be more like my late Isabel's. Snippet's style and manorism is almost identical to that of my late Isabel's. Just as Snippet's 1st birthday passed, Snippet gave birth to 4 beautiful Snippet & Isabel "look-a-likes". I was speechless as Snippet delivered one after another 4 carbon copies of herself and of my late Isabel.
I am also thankful to you Nancy for letting me have your young male "Meander's Hunter" your stunning handsome little guy and Meander's Little Snippet the little female with the big personality. Hopefully, they have made you proud.....Thank you again, signed Dave Dawson
I also want to reach out to Andrea Hall of "Sunsation Whippets and Rat Terriers - Coats of many Colors" for her beautiful "Sunsation Rainy". I just recently learned after a year and a half of Rainy living with us that she was born on a rainy day. Andrea never told me if that had anything to do with her name and I never asked....but I suspect that it did. Thank you Andrea for your very special and beautiful young female known as "Sunsation Rainy"......David
On August 4th 2014, our beautiful Sunsation Rainy gave birth to 3 beautiful and healthy puppy's. This is Rainy's first litter. I am not a professional breeder. I breed for personal pleasure only under the name British Royal Terriers.
