A fabulous winter day out at Malham in North Yorkshire, February 2008.
We walked from the main car park, to Janet's Foss, a waterfall where Jennet, Queen of the Faeries lives behind the waterfall, on to Goredale Scar, a fabulously impressive gorge created something like 15 million+ years ago from water melt from the ice age. On the day we visited, there was much ice in the waterfalls and beck and icicles hanging from overhead projections, falling occasionally to the ground.
