30th March: I told you I had a thing about fenceposts etc. I put some sunflower hearts on the top of this post, knowing birds regularly come to it when I do and I sat and framed the scene to include the gate etc. I ended up with seized muscles from waiting in position and about 50 images of a gatepost with either no bird, or the top of a disappearing wing. They move surprisingly fast!
