Tim's first project car - a 1968 Camaro.  Car was purchased in March 2010 and was described by the seller as 95% complete!  More like 95% missing or broken...

The floor pans were covered with sound deadening material.  Also covered were plenty of rust and holes.

The trunk had a lot of spare parts.  Most were not correct for the car.  Others were in poor shape.

The interior needed a lot of work.  Steering column had been in a wreck.

The engine didn't seem bad but it was leaking from the core plugs.

Grandpa came over and said we were out of our minds for buying this thing.  He was right as usual.

Old floor pans were cut out and new ones welded in

Front and rear pans installed

The engine was checked out.  Good compression was a plus.  Replaced core plugs and timing chain.

Upper rear shock mounts were missing.  Custom ones were fabricated.

All new wiring harnesses installed along with gauges, including a tic-toc-tach.

Freshened up engine back in

Climate controls refurbished. Newer radio installed.

Rear end was rebuilt with 3.73 Posi, new axles and brakes.

Heater core replaced.  New master cylinder, booster and brake lines installed.

Frontend rebuilt and disc brakes added

Trial fit for console and gauge cluster.

New American Racing Torq Thrust D wheels and BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.  Windshield and rear glass were replaced along with trim.
