San Diego and LA Adventures
Will and I decided we needed a vacation together, away from friends and cons for a little while. Seeing as my brother is in the Navy, we decided to stay with him while we're there :)
Aug 27- Fly out and pick up rental car. Sleep off Jet Lag :)
Aug 28 - Spend the day driving up the west coast and touring LA and Hollywood. At night we're meeting up with the LA FF for the John William's Concert at the Hollywood bowl. I'll see if I can get the SW theme on the little video mode ;) This day should be the most exciting of the week :D
Aug 29 - We might be going out on my brother's little boat for the day, nice and relaxing :)
Aug 30 - San Diego Zoo trip :D
Aug 31 - nothing planned yet, but we may meet up with the SD FF for dinner or something
Sept 1 - Fly Home :( Wish we could stay longer, oh well, we WILL return soon :D
Sure, we would have LOVED to go to Dragon Con indtead, but this was a cheaper vacation, and a bit more relaxing for both of us :) Besides, there's always next year ;)

Aug 28th (August 28, 2004)| Here are pics from on the way to LA, The Chinese theater, and the John Williams concert. We had a picnic with the LA FF, wonderful people :) OMG I want to go again, he encored with 3 SW songs! Will and I got a little teary eyed when the Main Theme played, seeing as this movie is what brought us together :) |

San Diego Zoo (August 31, 2004)| Here are a LOT of pictures I took while at the Zoo. I'll try my best to label each animal. I HIGHLY recommend the SD Zoo if you ever come to this area. It's beautiful, there were flowers EVERYWHERE and we even saw bananas, olives, persimmons, oranges, and lemons growing there - as well as the animals. This zoo is better than the Bronx Zoo, except for the tiger exhibit. Bronx has Tiger Island, which is amazing. SD Zoo has ONE Tiger :( I was a little bummed since tigers are my absolute favorite animals in the world. We had a GREAT time, it was so much fun. |

Tuesday Aug. 31 (August 31, 2004)| Our last day in San Diego :( We decided to bum around San Diego and see what we could find. We found a yummy chocolate shop called Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and we saw the GIANT convention center. In the evening we went to La Jolla to see the seals and the sunset on the beach. We only saw about 3 seals, but we played in the sand and watched part of the sunset. At night we went to Rubio's with the SDSWS for some yummy fish tacos and good company. This trip was a blast and we can't wait to come back again :D |

Leaving San Diego (September 1, 2004)| Pictures of our last day in San Diego :-( We had a such a wonderful trip and made new friends with the members of the San Diego and Los Angelos Fan Forces. We decided to eat at our favorite little place on our last day - Parkhouse Eatery. We can't wait to go back summer 2005 :-D |
