| 2 The skirt design that I drew in Photoshop and used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out stencils for.
| 3 FABRICS! So many different types of fabrics for one costume! I think this is a record for me! 2 on the petticoat, 2 on the skirt, 2 for the bodice, 1 for the shirt, and 3 for the vest! Granted the shirt fabric is the same as the petticoat lining, so that's 9 different fabrics!
| 4 They aren't all pictured. I'm missing the bodice, vest, and skirt linings. The vest is a green taffeta with an iridescent green/aqua organza overlay and green cotton lining. The bodice is a dark teal linen with a cotton lining, the skirt was a glitter Casa satin in aqua, the skirt was yellow cotton, the skirt was yellow cotton with a pale yellow dotted net overlay.

5 Testing the paint for the ombre effect. I ended up suing plain old spray paint to get this effect, and it worked beautifully.
| 6 Finished petticoat. It's totally wearable as a tulle skirt on it's own too!
| 7 Using my Cameo to cut stencils to use to paint the sunflowers and designs onto the skirt.
| 8 SO many stencils! Some are done in layers and require more than one stencil to complete the look.
|
9 You can see my paint test in the upper left side.
| 10 Everything gets a base coat of white to let the color really pop.
| 11 Starting to add the color to the sunflowers.
| 12 Completed painting and ready to be rhinestoned!
|
13 That's one panel done, 4 more to go!
| 14 Two done! 3 more, I can do this!
| 15 SO CLOSE!
| 16 Once everything was done, it was time to glue down about 440 rhinestones. There still needs to be about another 400 stones added, but they are not cheap, as I used my Swarovski stash and the rest need to match.

17 You can't even grasp the sparkle in a photo *sigh*
| 18 I used a really wide bias tape for the edge, since Anna's has a colored edge as well. This saved trying to hem the circle edge of this fabric, which was slightly stiffened from painting.
| 19 Anna wears a sunflower type brooch at her neck. I happened to have an antique 10k gold, opal, and spinel brooch that fit my needs.
| 20 The vest and the blouse. I completely forget to take pictures of this in progress. The vest is lined in a dark green cotton. The front is a layer of taffeta with the organza flat lined on top as one layer. It was then stitched to the lining and the raw edges were bound in bias tape in the same teal that was used on the skirt hem.
|
21 The corset bodice. I realized AFTER I made this, that I completely forgot to use any interfacing for structure. That's so unlike me. This is lined in a teal cotton and the edges bound in a metallic gold bias tape.
