| 9 Not Julie Newmar, but still the catwoman costume. It has good details of the boots and mask/ears.

25 Fake Nails, claws, polish and glue.
Cut the tips off the claws, you don't need them. Mark the tips 1-5 with 1 being your thumb and so on. Pick large nails for the thumb and middle finger (#1 and 3), medium nails for the index and ring fingers (#2 and 4), and small nails for the pink fingers (#5).
| 26 Use a Sharpie to mark the claw shape on the nail and cut with small scissors. File the edges smooth with a regular nail file.
You can then glue them on the claw tip and clamp to dry with binder clips.
| 27 Let all the tips dry thoroughly before painting.
|
28 Use binder clips to hold the claws while painting. This way you don't get polish all over your fingers or work area. I also slipped them over a sharpie because I ran out of clips.
| 29 See how the numbered claws correspond to certain fingers. It makes it easier when getting suited up to quickly put your claws on.
| 30 Put your claws on, and then carefully slip the glove on making sure each one extends through the hole in the tip of the glove fingers. To get the second glove on, you may need help from someone else to pull it to the elbow ;-)

31 Original tips on new bases - brass guitar finger picks! They're adjustable and WAY more comfortable!

34 Pretty dang close looking to the originals and it only cost about $24 to make with gloves, nails, and polish.
| 35 Yay! All the seambinding is in! Since the raw edges of this fabric were quite itchy, I had to bind every raw edge in either foldover elastic or bias tape. It helps reduce the itchiness a LOT.

| 39 Will's new Alley Cat henchman costume. Every Catwoman needs her catman ;-)

40 I found the fabric locally for $16 (two yards) for the shirt. The hat was made from my old pleather padme corset and some black fleece I had on hand. It was a last minute costume, so when time allows I'll upgrade the hat properly and get him the 'awesome' sunglasses too lol
