1 Westley is a friendly 1-year-old boy.
2 He was named after the handsome hero in "The Princess Bride"--the dashing and faithful young man whose resourcefulness, charm, and perseverance helped him conquer dreadful odds in his quest for True Love and happiness.
3 Westley was found wandering the city streets in the middle of the night. He gladly came to the man who stopped to help him. His owner was never located. Westley weighs 14-1/2 lbs. and stands 14" tall at the shoulders.
4 He is ultra people-friendly, enthusiastically meeting new folks of all ages. He loves kids!
5 Westley is a playful pup. He particularly likes balls. He will chase them and usually bring them back. If no one is there to throw them, he'll play on his own, picking them up and dropping them so that he can snag them again.
6 Although he is not overly licky, he will give gentle sweet kisses. Our favorites are the nose-rubbing "Eskimo kisses."
7 Westley loves to run and play outside. We were told by his finder that he is an "escape artist" who loves to discover narrow openings to squeeze through. But he does not climb or jump fences.
8 Westley gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes. He meets them all with tail a-wagging, though he could come on a little strong for dogs who are smaller or not as inclined to be so physically playful.
9 Of course he would rather be on your lap. He will usually "ask" before just hopping up.
10 "Ah, yes, once again she couldn't resist me!"
11 And when you leave the room, he knows just where to wait to be sure to get some attention on your return!
