Here's little Trooper! He came to Ratbone Rescues as an owner surrender when his owner got a 3rd dog--then realized that was too much for him.

Trooper is a wonderful little guy: just 10 lbs. and about 10-1/2" tall.

He just turned 6 months old (was born 1/25/04).

He is a purebred, UKC-registered Rat Terrier.

He spent his first five months in a cage, so he is just learning the joy of playing. Toys are fun!!

Trooper loves people! He makes friends with everybody.

He loves to play with other dogs (all sizes). He is particularly fond of his foster sister and learns a lot from her.
