1 Here is bright-eyed little Shoshone.
2 She is said to be 3 years old, but she still has a lot of puppyish enthusiasm and silly sweetness.
3 She weighs 13 lbs.
4 Shoshone had been taken to a vet office for boarding and then simply abandoned there and never picked up. We don't know why. She remained there for 4 months, so terrified that she was labeled fear aggressive. Only a couple of kennel workers could safely pick her up. But once she got out of there and into a normal home, she immediately showed her true personality.
5 She is reliably house trained, will readily sit on command, and walks well on leash. Her house manners have been very good except for a couple of instances of picking inappropriate "toys" to chew on when got anxious.
6 In the house she is generally pretty quiet, though she will definitely alert when something seems amiss. When we've had unfamiliar guests over, she had no hesitation in going right up to them for friendly introductions.
7 "Aw come on... you need a break... why don't you let me up on your lap so that you can just relax for a while..."
8 She promises that her love and devotion will be worth it!
