1 Sandie is a pretty girl who was picked up by animal control but never reclaimed.
2 Sandie is 2 years old, weighs 16 lbs., and stands about 13" tall. She has a gorgeous physique.
3 She is super friendly with people and very social. She isn't one to always be trying to get in your lap, but she does get very, very happy when you give her attention. She is fine with little kids. She has no known health issues. When she is not barking excitedly at a passing car, she is usually pretty low-key.
4 She has had a really hard time, though, accepting the other dogs in her fosterhome, and when she is startled by them or senses threatened at all--even if they're doing nothing but staring at her-- she goes on the offensive.
5 And her tail is almost constantly in motion.
6 She still has a ways to go before she would be considered a perfect pet, but we're exposing her to new things and working on her training every day. (She learned how to "sit" on command in one training session.) Of course SHE is convinced that she is perfect now!
7 Attack of the kissing foster dogs! :-)
8 Sandie will be a terrific, loving companion in a household where she isn't living with a dog she considers a competitor and where she can go on regular walks without "running into" a lot of moving cars.
Oh Sandie... you are such a cute little girl. You and I would look just fine together. Your manner of streching, curling up to go to sleep etc... look just like mine. I do so much wish my Mom and Dad could be convinced in adopting a sister for me. Mom is mostly against it.. Dad could easily be talked into it. I hope you find a nice home soon. Spenc
