Roxie was rescued in Alabama by a family who found her with her head stuck in a fence. They couldn't keep her so turned her in to Ratbone Rescues.

She is just a little bit of a thing....

... just 10-1/2" tall and only 8 lbs. She is all legs.

Roxie is 2-3 years old and pretty well socialized. She is friendly with anyone who will give her attention, especially if they let her jump in their lap!

She likes to be carried around and loved on, but she can get snappy when startled, so would probably be best in a home without little kids.

Roxie is alert and inquisitive.

Roxie can be growly with other dogs, especially if they're getting attention she thinks should be focused on her! But for the most part she is gregarious and does well with the others. I'm not sure what Niki thinks about being used for Roxie's pillow!

This little princess has no hesitation to make herself at home on your sofa.

She is fascinated by squirrels and can't figure out how they stay up that tree, where she can't go!

She adapts easily to new people. A school friend came over for the day and she was immediately right there in his lap, although she had never met him before. Hey... ya got a lap and a hand to pet her, and you're "In"!!

Her left eye is somewhat smaller than her right eye, we suspect because of an old injury (she also has a small scar on her left muzzle). Her eyesight seems just fine, though.

Roxie very much wants a family of her own, where she can settle in and become the most important person in the household.
