1 Roxette in the shelter
2 The vet puts her age at 7-9 years.
3 She is just a dinky little thing. She weighed less than 6 lbs. at the shelter (1/18/12) but is starting to put on weight. Once she attains a healthy weight she should be about 9-10 lbs.
4 She has Grade 2 luxating patellas in both knees, but the vet is not recommending surgery for her.
5 She is alert, calm, and accepting.
6 A calm, gentle old soul who is looking forward to better days ahead!
7 After about a week here, Roxette started being a bit less of a loner. She is still undemanding and passive, and doesn't ask much for attention, but she has started following me around and choosing to spend time near us.

9 She doesn't play tug or chew on hard toys, but she does enjoy gnawing on soft ones.
10 She is slowly beginning to come out of her shell and act confident in her surroundings.
