Bright-eyed, attentive Qi is ready to be your friend!
She is just a youngster, about 1 year old.
She weighs 12 lbs. and stands about 12" tall.
Qi was surrendered to rescue after giving birth to 3 large puppies, two of which did not survive. Qi was a good mama to the remaining pup, but she is now ready for a home of her own.
Qi's housetraining has been perfect in her foster home.
She is alert but is generally quite quiet and low-key.
She is friendly and a bit deferential to other dogs. Her young foster brother Razz can induce her to play with him (and they have a terrific time!) but she is more subdued with the other, older dogs.
Qi is friendly with people, including children, but she can be a little reserved when first meeting them.
It doesn't take her long, though, before she is ready to come seek out a little lap time.
"Did you call me? Do you want to pat me now?"
She enjoys spending time in the yard in pleasant weather. Not such a fan of the rain, though.

"Uh, excuse me... is it lap time yet?"
That's better...

"Just sitting here waiting until you apply to adopt me."
