Pepsi was adopted on 12/1/04 and now lives with the Blakeslees(Pennsylvania).

1 Pepsi was rescued just before being put to sleep at the shelter on 8/31/04.
2 She is an adorable combination of Rat Terrier and beagle, with a full tail...
3 ...and big ears that sometimes stick out, sometimes droop, and occasionally stand up (even without help).
4 She is 3 to 4 years old, about 13" tall, and 16 lbs.
5 Pepsi is initially apprehensive with new people and wary, as though she is used to being punished. We think she had a hard life in her previous home(s).
6 But once she trusts you, she LOVES getting pats, and will let you hold her as long as you like.
7 Her coat is very soft and silky. The dark areas are deep brown mixed with some black.
8 Pepsi gets along wonderfully with her canine foster siblings, and enjoys playing with them.
9 She does fine with kids, provided they are gentle and don't move too quickly (which scares her).
10 She does fine with both men and women...generally preferring whoever has the open lap!
11 She is housetrained, knows how to use a doggie door, and isn't a chewer. And she usually responds when called!
