Meet Mitzie. She is about 3 years old and 12 lbs.

She is normally very alert and skittish, ready to bound away if anything scary happens. She doesn't go far, though--just far enough to feel safe.

She stands about 13" tall at the shoulders, with button ears and a 2" bobbed tail.

This little girl is very quiet, only very rarely giving a small "yip," even when the doorbell rings.

She quickly learned how to use the doggie door, by following her foster sister, and now she loves to go outside to soak up the sun.

Mitzie is a very well behaved little girl. She is not a big chewer and doens't get into things that are not hers.

She is not real demonstrative or overly affectionate, so when she seeks out your lap for some cuddle time, it's a real compliment.

It took a few weeks before she was comfortable "just hanging out."
