1 Meet handsome McIntosh!
2 He is a sweet, gentle boy who is about a year and a half old. But don't let the coy face fool you... he can sure be a rascally goof-ball pup.
3 "Mac" weighs 17 lbs.
4 He is friendly with everyone he meets, enjoying pats, snuggles, or any kind of physical contact you're able to give. He even likes hugs!
5 This was his greeting on first meeting his new foster dad, shortly after being "sprung" from the shelter.
6 He was immediately friendly with his new foster sister, and he also greeted the other dogs at the vet with enthusiastic friendliness.
7 He eagerly goes wherever you go, especially if treats are involved!
8 Mac is gentle and patient. He allows Gala to groom him whenever she likes. Click for a short video.
9 He will sometimes get the zoomies and run very fast circles around the yard. More commonly, though, he just likes to kick up his heels and bounce around in glee.
10 He will chase a ball but doesn't yet have the knack of bringing it back. Click for a short video.
11 Mac is reliably housetrained. He will lift a leg within seconds as soon as he hits the yard.
12 He is generally a fairly quiet fellow in the house. That is good, because when something gets his attention and he does bark, he is pretty loud.
13 While he is an active, playful fellow, he also just likes to chill out with you on the couch.
14 Particularly if the chill time involves pats or neck scratches! And you will definitely want to pat him, because he has the softest fur imaginable.
15 If you are not entertaining enough, he is content to play with his toys.
16 He gathers the toys together on his bed, plays with them til he is tired out, then takes a nap. He always seems to have one eye open, though, in case you are up to something that could be entertaining for him.
