1 Meet Miss Maggie.
2 She is a wonderfully social, affectionate little girl.
3 She was in bad shape when I first pulled her. She had been picked up by Animal Control, who believed she had been set on fire.
4 Her ears got the worst of it. She also had injuries to her feet and to a lesser degree on her nose, lip, chest, and upper leg. The location of the injuries indicate that she was intentionally hurt, and the sticky black matter stuck around the injured areas suggest that she had her ears doused with burning tar, which splattered her in other areas. Her ears are part charred and part still oozing.
5 The pads of all four feet, especially the rear ones, were also badly burned.
6 When she first came home from the vet, she was a pitiful thing.

8 She weighs just a little over 8 lbs. and stands about 9" tall.
