1 Here's sweet Little Debbie!
2 She is a "Teddy-style" Rat Terrier, standing just 10-1/2" tall, 12" long, and weighing 12 lbs.
3 She is approx. 3-4 years old.
4 She is a very gentle, friendly girl, eager to get attention from everyone she meets.
5 ...except for when she sees the cats. When she first got here, Little Debbie was horrible with the cats, barking and lunging at them. With repeated up-close (monitored) exposure, she seems to accept them but is still not trustworthy with them. She really should be in a no-cat home.
6 And it's not just cats. This little gal has a very high prey drive. She has never caught anything that we know of, but she'd climb a tree to get squirrels if she could, she bites our terrarium to try to get those pesky frogs, and here she is either hunting moles or else escavating our yard for a new in-ground pool!
7 Although she has NOT shown herself to be a digger in the 2+months she has been here, something must have really piqued her interest to start THIS! Click for a video of this little squirt in action. (Finola, the German Shepherd, just doesn't get what the excitement is about!)
