Kia was adopted 4/28/06 by the Woolfe family (Florida).

1 Kia came from an Alabama shelter where she was discovered to have heartworms.
2 She is 4-6 years old and just as gentle as can be.
3 Kia is 11" tall, almost 13" long, and weighs 14 lbs.
4 She is a very quiet girl. We haven't heard her bark at all. (Incidentally, she could afford to lose a pound or two, but in this shot, the camera is adding extra weight.)
5 Kia loves being patted and rubbed. And a good back scratch makes her shiver with delight.
6 Hey! Don't stop!
7 Kia seems to like everyone she meets, though is a little stiff initially. However, she warms up quickly.
8 She does get along well with other dogs, even those much larger than she. (Her strategy is to hide underneath the bigger dogs, then stealth attack from below.) And she is fine with cats.
9 Kia has an extreme underbite... very distinctive!

I want to say thank you to Terry and her family for being such a wonderful foster family to Kia. It's been so nice to have regular email updates and photos as well as endearing messages from Kia herself this past month while we anxiously await the arrival of our new little girl. Without this correspondence the wait would have been unbearable. Only 9 days to go.

Wow Kia is sooo cute! and she reminds me alot of Peppers personality! thats awesome she got adopted soo soon!
