1 This darling little gal is Juniper.
2 "What did you say?"
3 She is around 2-3 years old and weighs 12 lbs.
4 Juniper has obviously endured some trauma in her past that left her jaw somewhat misaligned and a big scar across her back that runs up her neck to just behind her ears.
5 Click for a video. This was just a couple of hours after being sprung from the shelter and she isn't sure about what is going on around her, but she IS sure that she likes playing with a ball!

7 She has been getting along great with her foster siblings.

9 ... and on her left side. It also goes up into the white part on the back of her neck and there, where the fur is missing, her nice pink pretty skin shows through.
10 Her misaligned jaw gives her an adorably quizzical look when she cocks her head.

12 Juniper had only been with us a couple days when we went on a camping trip, and she did great! It must have been a very strange experience for her, but she was good humored and accommodating about it all.
13 She met all kinds of new people and new dogs and she got along well with everyone. She totally fit right in.
14 She LOVES playing with toys -- balls, squeak toys, chew toys, and her favorite -- this furry frisbee. She chases it joyfully and then brings it back for you to throw again.
15 But her most favorite thing of all is sitting in foster mom's lap. She really got attached to me quickly, and of course that means she will bond fast and tightly with her new adoptive mom and/or dad.
