1 Izuzu is a friendly girl of 2-3 years old.
2 She came to rescue because she had a urinary problem that needed surgical correction.
3 She's a real lap dog but she had to constantly wear a diaper and wrap because she leaked urine.
4 She's a very pretty girl but she is camera-shy and almost always turns from the flash. When she does take a picture without turning away, she always has the same, rather worried expression. But in person her face is much more relaxed and happy.
5 "Zuzu" gets along well with the other dogs in her fosterhome-- particularly with those who love to romp and play with her (or let her lounge against them).
6 Izuzu does love to jump in your lap, especially if you're settled on the couch or at the computer. But when the camera comes out she tenses up, so you don't get to see her Relaxed Lap Puppy self.
7 She is fully housetrained and has quickly learned to use the doggie door.
8 Zuzu went through special surgery to correct her ectopic ureters. She recovered very quickly and her leakage problem is almost totally resolved.
9 So she is now diaper-free inside and out. She weighs 12.2 lbs. and is about 12" tall.
10 She'll run and bound through the yard just for the fun of it.
11 She is very people-oriented and likes folks of all ages. She is also a kissy girl who likes to express her affection by licking your face.
12 Whether she is playing or resting, Zuzu is waiting for a new forever family who will love her forever.
How cute she is! We have a three year old Jack Russell,and a fenced side yard with doggie doors going out of the house into the yard and then into a two car heated garage. We have filled out adoption papers and we are waiting response. We had a American Toy Terrier for 13 years. He passed on last week. Both of us and Odette need a new friend. We are willing and able to pay ALL cost associated with having a healthy and happy pet. Duane
