Meet 5-month-old Helix.
He's a lean boy, at 13" tall and only 10-1/2 lbs.
Helix was found roaming the streets with his sister. Sister got adopted, but Helix had an injured leg so the shelter wouldn't offer him for adoption.
Xrays show a fracture of the right rear leg but the orthopedic specialist says it's healing well and he doesn't need surgery. He now barely limps and it sure doesn't stop him from playing with his foster sisters!
He is an easy-going guy who doesn't bark much. He gets along with both dogs and cats. He is already housebroken and quickly figured out how to use the doggie door by watching the others.
He has been amazingly well-behaved in the house. He loves playing with dog toys (will toss them in the air in glee) but doesn't mess with things that are not "his" and doesn't have that puppy hyperactivity.
He loves being picked up and carried around and adores being in your lap!
He loves all people he has met and greets you with enthusiasm and lots of doggie kisses.
Story time is DEFINITELY one of Helix's favorite things.
Lap, pats, story..... SACKED OUT!
He'll even help you with your homework! :-)
This guy is going to make some lucky family happy indeed.
