1 This friendly, good-natured girl is Gouda.
2 She is 2-1/2 years old and weighs a solid 30 lbs.
3 Gouda is alert, social, gentle, and sweet-tempered.
4 We don't know why Gouda was surrendered to the shelter, but it couldn't have been her fault, as she is a very well behaved and well-trained girl.
5 She comes when she is called.
6 She sits on command.
Download MPEG4 7 She has a funny habit of doing a spin before sitting every time you ask her to sit. And she does a spin before lying down every time you ask her to lie down. She ALWAYS does the spin even though sometimes she forgets the last part. Click for a cute video.

9 Obviously she is eager to learn!
10 Gouda is reliably house trained. And she knows how to use a doggie door.
11 Calmly listening to the sounds of the neighbor dogs talking.
12 Gouda's biggest appeal is how sweet and friendly she is.
13 She loves it when she gets your attention.
14 And has figured out that sometimes she needs to be a bit of a clown to get you to play with her.
15 She meets strangers, both human and canine, calmly and with friendly curiosity.
16 Always ready to engage with you.
17 She is friendly with other dogs and good with cats.
