1 Hi! I'm Gala.
2 I weigh just 10 lbs.
3 The shelter said that I was 13 years old, but I'm very peppy and spry and my eyes are pretty clear, so my vet thinks I'm probably more like 10 years old. Either way, I'm ready for the adventure of a new home.
4 I love people. I love it when they pet me and hold me. And share their food with me.
5 I liked my foster dad as soon as I met him. I am sure I will like you, too.
6 I really am a "people dog" and just want to be near someone. I don't like being left alone and I will bark to beg for someone to come rescue me from loneliness. My foster mom says that this is why I cannot live in a condo or apartment.
7 I like to nap in my crate and will go in there on my own. But I really don't appreciate being shut in. Just leave the door open. You don't have to worry about me misbehaving.
8 Snore....
9 I like my foster siblings. Jonathan and I play together a lot. I have to be patient with him because he likes to wrestle. I'm not a big fan of that, but I tolerate it because I'm older and used to young whippersnappers. When he calms down, he lets me lick his face and ears, just like I used to lick my own puppies.
10 I just got a new foster brother and liked him straight away.
11 But just because he is taller why should he get all the treats??
12 That's better. Love me a bully stick!
13 I am housetrained as long as I get ample outdoor opportunity. I do know how to use a doggie door, but if you do not have one, you'll need to make sure that I'm on a schedule so that I don't have to hold it for too long.
14 Because if you make me wait too long, well... you know. (It's embarrassing.)
15 I love love love it when you give me your attention.
16 Sometimes my foster mom forgets that she can multi-task and I have to remind her that a hand sitting there doing nothing can be put to better use. (Click for a short video.)
17 I love dinner time. It's my favorite time of day.
18 Sometimes I try to convince my foster parents that it is dinner time when it isn't. They usually don't fall for it, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't try. (Click for a short video.)
