Fuji was turned into a county shelter because "the kids" weren't living up to their responsibility of caring for her.
She is sweet, friendly, well behaved, and reportedly did well with the kids in her former home.
Fuji is 2 years old.
She weighs a slender 12 lbs.
She is well behaved in the house.
She is alert and inquisitive. When the house is quiet, she just chills, but when there is activity going on, she is peppy and likes to be right in the middle of things.
Helping Foster Dad find that leak behind the refrigerator.
"Thank you for getting me out of tht shelter!"
Fuji is generally house trained but did have a few accidents in her first days here. As she has settled in, she has been very reliable provided she is given adequate outdoor opportunity.
If you are not available to hold her or play with her, she will curl up into a tiny ball for a snooze.
But as soon as you give her some attention, she is right there ready to interact.
She is VERY eager at treat time. She gets along wonderfully with the other dogs but is having to learn that it's not all about me-me-me, and she mustn't try to snatch the treats offered to them.
"I wouldn't do that, would I? heh heh."
But she is always gentle and good natured.
She is ready for a fresh start and will be an eager pupil for someone wanting to give her some formal training (sit, down, stay, etc.).
Wouldn't you like this peppy princess in your home?
