1 Here is sweet, sweet Fig Newton.
2 This little fellow is very gentle, a tiny bit shy, and quite calm.
3 He very much likes people, but is a little hesitant to ask for attention.
4 He is about two years old, weighs 15 lbs., and stands about 12" tall.
5 We believe Newton is a Rat Terrier/Beagle mix. And we suspect he might even have some Basset in him.
6 He gets along great with other dogs, and is not at all assertive with them.
7 Newton is extremely gentle and calm. He is pretty attentive and responsive when you talk to him. He likes to be in your lap.
8 We're not yet sure if he is housetrained (yet). He did lift his leg a few times to "mark" in his first days here; however, he responded to a sharp "No!" And of course it's a totally new environment and he had only been neutered the day before he got here, so wanting to mark isn't surprising at all.
9 He loves to be in your lap or by your side, but won't barge his way in if you're occupied with other dogs.
10 Newton is very loving with his sister, Do-Si-Do, and enjoys being with her.
