This is darling 9-month old Dino.

He is a lanky boy, at 14" tall and 14 lbs.

Dino is a Rat Terrier mix. Mom was pure RT, but we don't know about Dad. Dino's muzzle is rather long, his head fairly large, and his hair a little on the thicker, longer side.

He has a wonderful prancing gait like a jaunty show horse. But when he runs fast (and he can!!), he gathers his hind legs under him and bounds like a bunny.

When he first came to rescue, Dino was a terrified, cowering, trembling bundle of bones.

But within a couple of days, this boy turned into an affectionate fellow who continually seeks out pats and reassurance.

His favorite place to be is in a trusted lap, where he relaxes totally.

He gets along wonderfully with his foster siblings, always ready to play ...although he did NOT do well with the Great Dane in his temporary fosterhome.

He is generally a pretty quiet boy, even when the other dogs in his fosterhome are barking. He will sometimes whine a bit in his crate, but soon settles down.

Bounding around the yard for the sheer joy of running.

Inside, if you or the other dogs aren't playing with him, he's a shadow at your feet or on your lap, ready to jump up the moment you do or settle down when you do.
