Meet Coriander!
Enlarge photo 22
He is a youngster of 2-3 years old.
Enlarge photo 33
"Cori" weighs about 22 lbs.
Enlarge photo 44
He was friendly and inquisitive when he first got to his foster home after being in the shelter for a week.
Enlarge photo 55
He came to us with a bad skin infection, mostly on his muzzle, ears, "armpits," and groin.
Enlarge photo 66
He was rashy, sore, and very itchy.
Enlarge photo 77
But that didn't stop him from being sweet and congenial!
Enlarge photo 88
So of course we promptly started him on medication and a healthy diet plus medicated, soothing baths.

Within just one week his skin is so much better! He clearly feels better, too.

Coriander likes to investigate the yard, play ball, get pats, and eat dinner. Eating dinner is probably is favorite.
Enlarge photo 1111
He waits politely for his meals.
Enlarge photo 1212
And he will sit on command.
Enlarge photo 1313
He is overall housetrained but he needs a schedule since he doesn't yet know how to ask to go outside when he needs to.
Enlarge photo 1414
In the yard he likes to check everything out.
Enlarge photo 1515
He is generally pretty quiet.
Enlarge photo 1616
On a visit to the pet store, he gave a brief, uninterested sniff at the cats running around and playing in their pen, then ignored them.
Enlarge photo 1717
He gets along super with the other dogs in his foster home as well as the ones he met at the pet store.
Enlarge photo 1818
At night he sleeps quietly on a dog bed in our bedroom and wakes up happy and rarin' to go.

Cori does like to be in your lap but is not a fan of the camera.
