 1 Meet Coriander!
| 2 He is a youngster of 2-3 years old.
| 3 "Cori" weighs about 22 lbs.
|
4 He was friendly and inquisitive when he first got to his foster home after being in the shelter for a week.
| 5 He came to us with a bad skin infection, mostly on his muzzle, ears, "armpits," and groin.
| 6 He was rashy, sore, and very itchy.
|
7 But that didn't stop him from being sweet and congenial!
| 8 So of course we promptly started him on medication and a healthy diet plus medicated, soothing baths.
| 9 Within just one week his skin is so much better! He clearly feels better, too.
|
10 Coriander likes to investigate the yard, play ball, get pats, and eat dinner. Eating dinner is probably is favorite.
| 11 He waits politely for his meals.
| 12 And he will sit on command.
|
13 He is overall housetrained but he needs a schedule since he doesn't yet know how to ask to go outside when he needs to.
| 14 In the yard he likes to check everything out.
| 15 He is generally pretty quiet.
|
16 On a visit to the pet store, he gave a brief, uninterested sniff at the cats running around and playing in their pen, then ignored them.
| 17 He gets along super with the other dogs in his foster home as well as the ones he met at the pet store.
| 18 At night he sleeps quietly on a dog bed in our bedroom and wakes up happy and rarin' to go.
|
19 Cori does like to be in your lap but is not a fan of the camera.
| 20 Evening TV time is the best!
