1 Chico is an active, energetic 5 or 6-year-old who greets each new day with enthusiasm.
2 He stands about 15-1/2" tall and is about 15" long from shoulder blades to base of tail. He weighs 22 lbs.
3 Chico is very motivated by food treats, and he learns VERY quickly. This is one extremely smart dog! He knows "sit," "stay," "lie down," "shake," and "leave it." (Shake is his favorite!) He has also just learned "Roll over" and "High Five!" and is currently working on "Touch."
4 Did I mention this boy can jump?? Click above for a video of Chico practicing "sit" and then jumping. After Chico was here a few weeks, he discovered he could jump/climb our 4-ft. chainlink fence, so we had to extend the height by about 20" to contain him safely.
5 He quickly learned to navigate the agility equipment. This video was taken just 10 minutes after his very first introduction to the tire jump.
6 He enjoys an occasional chew toy...
7 He loves to "hang out" with his humans, and he views everyone as his friend. Well, except maybe for the Postman. He seems to have a thing for barking at delivery trucks and their drivers.
8 Just look at that tail!!! This engaging fellow is ready to do whatever you want in exchange for a treat (or two).
