1 Chi-Chi is 7 years old.
2 She is initially a little timid of new situations. She likes people (including kids) and is friendly and gentle with everyone, but it takes her a little while to warm up and be comfortable with new folks.
3 She weighs 10.5 lbs, and is a "Teddy-style" Rat Terrier, meaning she is shorter in proportion to her length. Chi-Chi stands only 10" tall and is about 12" long.
4 When she first meets other dogs, she is wary with them. She will hover nearby--but not TOO near--until she is comfortable. After she learns that they won't hurt her, she will follow them around.
5 Hey! I found a throne!
6 Chi-Chi likes to jump up onto your lap. Just pat your lap to issue an invitation, and there she is! She is content to be held and patted and sometimes she will even give kisses.
7 Chi-Chi's former owner was in a wheelchair and so couldn't give her many opportunities for socialization, so it's no wonder she is a little shy. When he became bed-ridden, he had to give her up, and she went from a small, quiet household to a large, active one, which has taken some getting used to.
8 This very gentle, pretty girl would sure love some stability back in her life.
