Ceiba
Ceiba was adopted 1/14/15 by the Erikson family (Mississippi).

This handsome fellow is Ceiba.

He is one year old and weighs 15 lbs.

Ceiba wasn't as terrified after he got "sprung" from the shelter, but he was still very nervous and skittish for the first couple of days.

Fortunately, by Day 2 he decided I wasn't going to try to eat him.

He immediately got along with the other dogs here, and even befriended the little back-yard neighbor dog.

After a little inappropriate chewing on Day 3, we introduced him to an antler.

He had just a couple of leg lifting incidents in the first couple couple of days, but has shown perfect house training since then.

He even learned how to use the doggie door!

By Day 4, Ceiba was sure that Gary was a good fellow.

By Day 5, Ceiba is very comfortable in his foster home and shows little nervousness at all. He does great in the car and did great at the vet.
